Our teachers and staff understand the needs of our international students and know that they often require extra help adjusting to life in Markham. Our staff speaks a variety of languages and is always willing to offer friendly guidance on academic and other issues.
More than 400,000 students come to study in Canada every year, and even more come to learn English or French. A large number of these students choose Ontario, especially Markham, as their final destination in Canada. Foreign students enrich our classrooms with their culturally diverse knowledge and skill base and are thus a welcomed addition to our school. Upon request, the school can send students all the necessary admission documents to apply for a Canadian Study Permit (Student Visa).
Student Visa
You need a student visa if you plan to study for six months or longer in Canada.
Admission Letter
We need the following documents to issue you the admission letter:
- Copy of your passport (the pages that show your picture and your date of birth)
- Your full address and your telephone number
- A copy of your current school transcript (showing your academic academy history from grade 9 to grade 12
- Your field of interest in higher education is medical, engineering, and business.
- Your school fees ($ 14,500 US for one year up to 8 courses).
- Notarized the Guardianship forms if you are under 18. We will send you the forms.
Please deposit the school fees ($500 minimum) into the Markham Secondary School account. Please note that we will refund your fees in full, less the $500 administration fees, should the Canadian Embassy refuse to issue you a visa. You may pay your school fees by Credit Card, Debit Card, Cash, Bank Draft, Certified Cheque or Wire Transfer. Here are the school`s bank details:
